TOPIC: IN CHRIST YOU ARE BLESSED
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” – Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)
If you are in Christ, then let this truth sink deep into your heart: you are blessed. In the Old Testament, blessings were promises; for us in Christ, those promises have become reality.
The Scripture declares in Galatians 3:13: “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree” (KJV).
Notice this: according to the law, someone must be hung on a tree to bear the curse. Jesus had to hang on that tree. It could not have been any other way. His hanging was the key that unlocked our redemption. His death on the cross, His shed blood, cleansed us from sin: past, present, and future.
But here is the vital point: the blessing only becomes real when we recognize the reality of what Christ accomplished. His obedience on the cross, His hanging on the tree, was what brought the blessing of Abraham to the Gentiles. His shed blood purchased your deliverance. You have been redeemed; sin no longer has the final say over you.
For the new creation, everything we receive is because of what Christ did, not because of what we have done. It is not about qualifications, education, fasting, giving, church attendance, tithing, or even the favor of men.
It is entirely based on Christ. He paid the price for your total redemption. He removed the curse and replaced it with blessings.
Beloved, embrace this truth today: in Christ, you are fully blessed. Every spiritual blessing has already been made available to you because of Him. Walk in it, live in it, and receive it with thanksgiving.
