TOPIC: THE BLOOD IS AN ASSURANCE
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” – Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
Beloved, the Word of God assures us of continuous victory under every circumstance. Always appropriate the blood of Christ in your life, especially in these perilous times. Plead the blood! Continually remind yourself of its power. The blood of Jesus is not symbolic; it is powerful and effective.
In Exodus 12, when all human efforts failed, the blood delivered God’s people from Egypt. God instructed them to plaster the doorposts and lintel with the blood of a lamb so that when the angel of death passed through the land, it would pass over their homes.
Nine plagues had already struck, yet Pharaoh’s heart remained hardened. Then God instructed that a lamb, a type and shadow of Christ, be slain. Families were to remain inside, with their doorposts marked with the blood.
Exodus 12:23 says: “For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.”
Beloved, as Christians, we are covered by the blood of Jesus. It is the blood that saves us, protects us, and grants us redemption. Ephesians 1:7 declares: “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”
Remember, without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. The blood of Jesus made salvation possible. Any teaching or religion that ignores the power of His blood is incomplete. Colossians 1:14 affirms: “In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”
Your redemption is secured and complete because of His blood. It is through the blood of Christ that every believer experiences forgiveness, victory, and protection. Let this truth settle in your heart: the blood of Jesus is your ultimate defense, your deliverance, and your triumph.
