YOU ARE BLESSED
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Thursday 23rd February 2023

“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:28 (KJV)

When God calls you blessed you are blessed. God does not crack jokes. Every word is validated in the blood. The blessing of God for you and your entire family has been pre-determined before the foundation of the world. Therefore, you are blessed. God’s intention for you was made known right from the opening of the scriptures when God made man and His intention has not changed. The Bible declares: “And God blessed them…”

This is one fact you need to know and settle firmly in your spirit and then teach your children. Let your household know that you are blessed. Even those who relate with you are blessed by association, let them know that the fact that they are connected with you, they are blessed.

The blessing is irrevocable! “For the gifts and calling of God is irrevocable, for He does not withdraw what He has given, nor does He change His mind about those whom He gave His Grace or to whom he sent his call.” (Romans 11:29 AMP)

Child of God, the blessing that is bestowed upon your life is irrevocable. God cannot change it. The devil can do nothing about it. You are blessed whether you know it or not. You are blessed whether you have activated it or not. Whether you appropriate it or not, as far as Heaven’s economy is concerned, you are still blessed.

However, just like somebody can be blessed with landed property, and he doesn’t know where the land is, or blessed with a huge sum of money and die poor, you can have all the spiritual blessings and still die poor, but that will not be your portion in Jesus’ name. So, banish ignorance of the word by intentionally studying and teaching your children the word of God. Know your rights and exercise them, know your privileges, and enjoy them.
