YOU ARE THE ARK OF GOD

“And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.” 2 Samuel 6:11 (KJV)

Beloved, when King David set out to bring the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem, something unexpected happened. During the journey, a breach occurred – Uzzah touched the Ark carelessly, and he was struck down by God. The celebration stopped. The music faded. The procession came to a halt.

In David’s distress, the Ark was diverted to the house of a man named Obededom. And what happened there was profound: in just three months, everything in his household was blessed. Why? Because the presence of God had come into his space.

Child of God, the good news is that God no longer dwells in wooden boxes overlaid with gold, He dwells in you. You are now the Ark of God. “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you?” – 1 Corinthians 6:19

Like the Ark in Obededom’s house, wherever you go, you carry the divine presenc. You are not ordinary. You are God’s habitation. That’s why the enemy cannot afford to mess with you. When the Philistines captured the Ark in earlier chapters, their cities were plagued until they were forced to return it. You are a dangerous cargo in the hands of the enemy.

Beloved, I challenge you today not to stop the music or the dancing. No matter what comes, let the music continue. Don’t stop the worship. Don’t retreat in fear. The same presence that brought devastation to the enemy brought blessing to Obededom. It depends on the vessel and the posture.

So today, walk with this consciousness. Your body is the temple of God, you are a carrier of divine presence. Wherever you find yourself, see yourself as a channel of blessing.
