- YOU WILL TAKE YOUR CITY

“And the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” (Joshua 6:20 KJV)
As you dream and march towards your goals and visions, there will be great opposition but fear not. There will be doors that will try to stop you from reaching your goals but do not be afraid. You will take your cities.
The children of Israel were shut out from entering Jericho. And God told them, you do not have to fight in this battle. Just march around the city while they watch you, and on the seventh day shout and blow the trumpet. On the seventh day, just as God had instructed, the thick walls of Jericho came crashing down. It was so high and thick that bible historians told us that two or three cars could drive on the wall of Jericho, yet, God did not need a bulldozer. All He needed was the spoken Word and their obedience, and the walls came crashing down. As you obey His Word, every wall that the enemy has built around your job, business, health, marriage, academics, and career will come crashing down.
Are you wondering how you are going to survive? You have already survived. In this season, you will flourish. You will hear incredible things this year. The contract you have been pursuing will come calling. Things that you have forgotten will fall into place. Doors shall open for you of their own accord. You will not be denied. All that God has spoken to you will come to pass. God says “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 KJV). Your eyes will see it, your hands will handle it, and your mouth will testify of the goodness and faithfulness of God.
