YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS FROM IT IS FINISHED
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Monday 23rd January 2023

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30 (KJV)

When the devil attacks your body, you should not tolerate it because you are not sick. You are the healed that the devil wants to make sick. The scripture says the streets of Heaven are paved with gold. So, money is not an issue in Heaven. Therefore, when you don’t have money in your pocket, you should not join the world to say you don’t have one. You already have because the vast resources of Heaven belong to you. And you have access to it in Christ. So, you declare it to yourself: every need is met, and every bill is paid.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue. So, you must not join other people to say anything contrary to what God has provided for you in Heaven. “Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”. What you bind on earth is bound in Heaven. Your case is different. Don’t join the world to say what they are saying, because when men shall say there is a casting down, you will say with boldness, there is a lifting. There is nothing like casting down.

If the situation wants to play games and deprive you of your success, God has already told you that you always triumph. You always win. So, even if you are on the floor, it does not change who you are. Jesus has already made you a winner by virtue of His death, burial, and resurrection.

You may appear behind with your back to the wall, but you don’t change your confession – You are a winner. Somehow the Holy Spirit will move in and change everything. He will turn it around for your glory. It is all about what He did, not about what you do. It is all about what He did, and He has done it. When He said it is finished that is when our journey started. Our journey began from it is finished. You are not going to arrive, you have arrived. So, stand firm on the word and refused to say anything on the contrary.
