ACTIVATE THE SUPERNATURAL
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Monday 30th May 2022

“Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8. (KJV)

You see, when you look at this scripture, what comes to your mind is, how can it happen. I want to announce to you today that your God will fight for you. He will make the impossible possible. Maybe you are wondering how you will ever bring forth with all the troubles around you. How will your dreams come to pass? The book of Zechariah 4:6 gives us the answer: “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Therefore, it is very important that we cultivate the habit of praying in the prayer language of the Spirit. When we pray in the prayer language of the Spirit, we are activating the supernatural because we can communicate directly with God without any form of hindrance. When we pray in the prayer language of the Spirit, we are engaging mysteries. “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit, he speaketh mysteries.” (1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV).

The prayer language of the Spirit helps you to pray accurately. There are times that we lack the language to articulate the burdens in our hearts. That is when the supernatural language of the Spirit takes over. “Likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Romans 8:26 KJV.

When we begin to deploy the prayer language of the Spirit, then all things begin to work together for us. Praying in the Holy Ghost will help to build up your faith. “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” Jude 1:20 KJV. Prayer in the Holy Ghost will also help us to intercede for the people we know or don’t know.
