TOPIC: BE ESTABLISHED IN HIS KINGDOM
“For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17 KJV
The book of Matthew 6:33 declares: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33 KJV). What is the kingdom of God? His righteousness, through peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. That is the Kingdom of God!
So, with the right standing with God, you have peace (Shalom). You are not anxious about whether it will work or not. No worries, no stress. Peace, Shalom; nothing missing and nothing broken. Then what happens? You will be rejoicing, even in the face of adversity. You will be laughing at the devil just like God is laughing at the devil. “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.” (Psalm 2:4 KJV)
When that happens, Jesus said good things will begin to gravitate towards you. You become a magnet for good things. Why? Because you understand your right standing. That is where the issue is. If you can understand that your problems are over, then you are blessed forever.
From now on, stop looking at yourself. Look unto Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our faith. He started this grace. You didn’t start it. You didn’t package it. He started it, and He will finish it. What should I do? Just believe. Even if your behaviour is not lining up, keep on believing.
According to 2 Corinthians 3:18: “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (KJV). By the Spirit, not by your effort!
When you believe what Christ has done on your behalf, the Holy Spirit will use it and transform your life. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. If you don’t believe it, He won’t work it out in your life. So, if you are wondering about your behaviour, all you need to do is keep on looking at Jesus. That is your true image. Be established in this truth!
