TOPIC: BEWARE OF DECEPTION

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” – Matthew 7:15–18 (KJV)

Beloved, it is not everywhere the name of Jesus is mentioned that His presence truly dwells. The deception in our time is subtle, many say “Jesus,” yet what they represent is far from Him. False prophets also mention the name of Jesus, but the fact that someone calls His name does not mean they belong to Him.
You must therefore be discerning. Do not validate a prophet or a ministry simply because their prophecy came to pass. Accuracy alone does not equal authenticity. The real test lies in the spirit behind their words and actions. That is why Scripture warns, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” – 1 John 4:1 (KJV).

The Word of God is the ultimate standard for truth. Every voice, vision, or revelation must be weighed against the Word. So, ask yourself: Where is Jesus in this message? Does the message reveal Christ, or does it exalt man? Does it bring you closer to the Word, or does it push you toward strange mysteries?
There is no mystery outside of Jesus. He is the centre of all revelation, the mystery once hidden but now revealed to the world. Stop chasing after so-called “new mysteries” or hidden secrets. Stick to the Word! Anyone or anything that leads you away from the simplicity of Christ will eventually lead you into error.

Miracles alone are not the proof of divine approval. Remember, Moses performed mighty signs, manna fell from heaven, water gushed out of a rock, and the Red Sea parted before the people. Yet, those same people who witnessed such wonders turned around to worship idols.

Beloved, stop running after miracles. Run after the Word. Study your Bible. Grow in understanding. Let your faith be rooted in sound doctrine, not in sensational displays. Stay balanced, stay discerning, and keep your focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.
