GOD IS UP TO SOMETHING GOOD
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Tuesday 21st February 2023

“And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, and houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full”. Deuteronomy 6:10-11 (KJV)

When the children of Israel were entering the promised land, the devil thought that he will foil God’s plans for them by planting giants. He planted giants in the promised land to abort God’s plan for God’s people. You see, sometimes you may observe some giants and some mountains in the promises of God on your behalf, but you must have an understanding that if God gave it to you then He must be up to something. If God gave you a land that is filled with giants, obstacles, and impediments, then know that He is up to something because all things work together for good to them that love God.

From the text above, God allowed giants to be planted in that land. He knew how tough the land was. So, He allowed the giants to be there so that the giants can do all the dirty jobs and prepare the ground for His people to enter. That same God will do the same thing for you. The giants confronting your family will be your ploughmen and vinedressers that will make your land easy to cultivate for you in Jesus’ name. That shall be your portion!

Those who want you dead and frustrated will be the ones that will till your land for you. Let them go and toil! Let them go and labour! Let them go and sweat! When they are done, they will deliver it to your hands.

I want you to know that the God that we serve is already working behind the scenes on your behalf. He is working behind the scenes in every challenge facing you. Rest in Him because you will testify in Jesus’ name.
