WISDOM FOR THE DAY DEVOTIONAL
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

TUESDAY 3rd FEBRUARY 2026

TOPIC: GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU

“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” – Matthew 6:26 (KJV)

Beloved, God will take care of you. This is a promise, you will never be stranded, you will not die of sickness, and the enemy will not prevail against you. God’s care is constant, unfailing, and personal.
Do not chase after the things unbelievers pursue. To do so is an insult to the finished work of Christ. You are far greater than that. Heaven values you highly. Take time to meditate on the Scriptures and anchor your mind in this truth:
“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” – Romans 8:32 (KJV)
Everything you need has already been provided through grace. Learn to receive what God has freely supplied. Stop begging, take your place as a beloved son and daughter of God.

Understand the rules of engagement in this spiritual warfare. Your expectation determines what you receive. Every promise of God in Christ is already a yes. But it will not manifest until you say Amen, which is your acknowledgment that it is your reality. Until you receive it in faith, it cannot take root.
Do not engage in discussions with the devil. Your assignment is simple: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
The Kingdom is not somewhere out there, it is already inside you. Everything God is, and all He has, is invested in Jesus, who now lives in you. Stop looking around. Look inward. He is within you.

Beloved, you cannot be stranded. Your provision will not run out. Your needs are already met. God will always take care of you.
