GOD’S PLANS FOR YOU WILL NOT BE TRUNCATED

“When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.” John 11:4 (KJV)

I believe that God has great and robust plans for everyone. He has great plans for you in your business, in your marriage, in your health, in your financial life, and different areas of your life. God started the journey of your life. It is not you who started it. He started it and He will perfect it.

According to the account in the book of John chapter 11, Jesus was invited by Martha and Mary to come and lay hands on Lazarus who was sick unto death. And Jesus delayed a bit before He finally decided to go there. When He arrived, Martha said: “…Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.” (John 11:21 KJV). In other words, Martha was telling Jesus that His late coming has brought a hopeless situation to her and her sister.

Beloved, our God is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the resurrection and the life Himself. He is God all by Himself and He is never limited by distance, space, or any condition. He can turn any situation around. He can turn any challenge around. No matter how bad and no matter how tough it is, the God that you and I serve can turn it around. No matter how devastating your condition is and no matter how hopeless, God knows how to turn a hopeless situation around.

When Jesus got to the tomb of Lazarus, He did the unusual and the bad situation was turned around. “And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.” (John 11:43-44 KJV).

Lazarus’ future was not truncated in the grave.
His future was secured even in the grave. God’s plan for us can never fail no matter the situation.
