PLANT THE WORD
Dr. Mike Okonkwo

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Isaiah 55:11 KJV

Do you know that when farmers plant a seed in the ground, it would change the environment? The seed would change the ground. It is a common planting experience. That is to tell you the power of the Word of God in your life. When a prostitute begins to plant the Word of God into her life; suddenly, she would no more want to be a prostitute, the Word will begin to change her. So, in the same way, when I take up the Word of God which is God Himself and begin to accept it and activate it in my life and believe it in my sick body, it would change my body.

Faith is the substance (the Word of God is the substance) of what you are hoping for. Are you hoping for a child? Take the Word of God. Don’t believe what you’re experiencing, rather begin to plant that Word into your life. It would change your situation. Even if your womb was dead, it would change it. If you don’t believe me ask Sarah. How do you think that Sarah received strength to conceive? The Lord had already told Abraham that he would be the father of many nations. They tried to manipulate God by bringing Ishmael. But God said, ‘Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed.’

To settle it once and for all, God cut a covenant with Abraham. After the cutting of covenant, God changed their names. Sarai became Sarah. In other words, ‘you are now a princess. I want you to begin to call yourself princess. Begin to plant that Word into your life.’ He changed Abram’s name to Abraham; father of many nations. He began to call himself father of many nations when he didn’t look like it. Suddenly, their bodies began to change. Sarah’s organs started to receive strength and before you know it, she gave birth to Isaac. Start to plant the Word into your life from today. It will change your situation.
