TOPIC: RECEIVE WHAT HAS BEEN OFFERED
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16 KJV
Many believers are still waiting to earn what God has already made available. You must understand that God is your Father and He loves you. Therefore, you can receive healing, and you can receive victory.
The Bible says in Hebrews 4:15–16: “We do not have a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need” (KJV).
Don’t come begging, crying, and wondering if God is going to hit you on the head with a sledgehammer because you were angry with your brother yesterday. I know you were, but God said you should come boldly to the throne of grace.
Mercy means compassion! At this throne, you find grace for help at any time of need. Every person who learns to see God the way He is will always receive before the man who wants to earn it. You cannot earn what God has provided.
That is why anyone who rejects salvation is doomed for life, because you cannot save yourself. There is nothing you can do to save yourself. The Bible talks about the mystery of iniquity. Sin is so mysterious that man cannot save himself from it. Your good works cannot! The blood of animals cannot. So, it took the blood of God to save man from sin.
The mystery of sin is such that it is so powerful that it broke into the presence of God, a Holy God who cannot behold iniquity. That is why man cannot save himself. So when you reject the offer that God has made, you are finished. You have simply determined where you will end.
His offer is Jesus! Hold unto Jesus! He is the Author and the Finisher of your faith.
