RECEIVE WHAT THE LORD HAS PROVIDED

“Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.” Matthew 22:4 KJV

Child of God, why is it so difficult for you to accept what has been done? It is simply stretching your hand or exercising your faith to take what has been provided. The book of Matthew 22 tells us that many were invited to the wedding of the king’s son. He sent forth other servants to inform those invited that dinner was ready. He had prepared his banquet but they would not come.

Everything was ready, but the invited guests made light of it and chose to go and do something else. They rejected the offer because they must do something. What they were looking for was on the table. All that was required was for them to come and eat. According to the scriptures: “Then saith he to his servants, the wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy” (Matthew 22:8 KJV).

What made them unworthy? They were unworthy because they refused to receive what had been provided. It was not because of any wrong they had done. It was simply because they refused to receive what had been provided for them. The kingdom provides everything. The guests only have to receive it. The scripture says “…as many that received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God” (John 1:12 KJV). Not just that, He also gave the power to receive healing, the power to prosper and the power to overcome the challenges in life. He wants you to rest in His finished works.

You have been struggling and not getting results because you are not resting. Stop this doing mode the devil has put you in. Stop wondering: “What must I do to be blessed, to be healed and saved? What must I do to prosper? What must I do to live? Just come to the banquet and receive His provisions.
