REMAIN DILIGENT
By Bishop Mike

Friday 4th July 2025

“Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?”
Proverbs 20:6 (KJV)

Beloved, I feel strongly led in my spirit to encourage you to remain diligent and committed to the Lord at all times, especially in this season where the temptation to compromise is strong. We live in a time when true diligence and faithfulness have become rare virtues. It’s becoming increasingly difficult to find men and women who are consistently upright, whether in the private or public sector. The scripture captures this reality well in 2 Timothy 3:1–2:
“…In the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy.” (NKJV)

As a new creation in Christ, God desires that you be diligent wherever you find yourself. Diligence is a crucial ingredient for growth, promotion, and fulfillment of purpose. God wants you to reign, but His promises are activated through obedience and consistency. In other words, you must live by faith and make a quality decision to stand out. Don’t be moved by those who cut corners or achieve results through ungodly means. You are not like the world. So remain steadfast, your diligence will speak for you.

If the God you serve is faithful and dependable, then your life must reflect those same qualities. Your diligence at work, in relationships, and your spiritual walk should not be based on feelings or circumstances but on your identity as a kingdom person. You are a recipient of grace. Grace enables you to do more. This grace doesn’t just help you survive; it empowers you to thrive, not in your strength, but in God’s.

So let me ask you: how are you handling your work or business? Are you in the habit of making excuses, avoiding responsibility, or giving less than your best? If you desire promotion and favor, then you must show up and serve with excellence, even when no one is watching. That is the hallmark of a truly diligent person.
