”And when he came to himself, he said, how many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee…” Luke 15: 7-8 (KJV)
Beloved, one of the most profound truths is that God never turns away a heart that truly returns to Him. No matter how far you’ve wandered, no matter how many mistakes you’ve made, the arms of the Father remain open.
Perhaps you’re wondering today, “Will God accept me back after all I’ve done?” The answer is a resounding YES. Jesus told the parable of the prodigal son to silence every doubt and to offer hope to anyone who feels unworthy or disqualified. All you need to do is find your way back and embrace the righteousness that God freely offers through Jesus Christ.
This is not a license to keep sinning, but rather it is a reminder that sin has no dominion over you. You are not helpless. You are not abandoned. The Holy Spirit is your Helper. He reminds you of your identity in Christ. When you fall, He whispers, “You are still righteous. Get up. You’re better than this.”
So, come to yourself today. Awake to righteousness. You were not created to live in guilt or defeat. The same God who went after Adam and Eve despite their sin, who wrapped Himself in flesh to redeem humanity, is still pursuing hearts today with relentless love.
Don’t let the devil deceive you. He’ll highlight the pleasures of sin to make you ignore the embrace of God. But nothing compares to the love and freedom found in your Father’s presence.
Child of God, stop feeding on guilt. Feed on His love. Let His love heal, restore, and realign you.
