TOPIC,: RIGHTEOUSNESS IS A REVELATION
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For therein, in this gospel is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith”. Romans 1:16-17 KJV
Beloved, righteousness is a revelation. It is not what you work for, nor is it what you perform. You don’t do anything to acquire it. It is a revelation. And when you get it, you receive it. “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith”, not from faith to works, nor from works to faith. It is from faith to faith. As it is written; the just shall live by faith.
One of the damages that has been done to the body of Christ all over the world, especially in our setting, is that the Lord has been presented in the wrong way to the people.
People have been made to think that God is looking for somebody to kill. He has been presented as someone who is waiting for you to make the next mistake, and He hammers you.
But that is not God. God is a good God. If you have a wrong perception of God, you can hardly receive from Him. When your understanding of God is distorted or perverted, and you don’t truly know who He is, you will be afraid to approach Him.
God had been presented wrongly, but there is a clear sound today in the atmosphere bringing back the body of Christ to understand that God is a good God, and He does only good. He will do you good always.
When you understand that God is a good God, you wake up expecting nothing but good. You know, some people wake up and expect bad things to happen to them. No, not when you are serving God.
When I wake up every morning, I am not thinking of whether I am going to make a mistake or not. Why? Because I am in Christ! Does Christ make mistakes? No! As He is, so am I.
