SHUT UP THE DEVIL
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Friday 7th October 2022

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19 (KJV)

We are the expression of Jesus on earth just as Jesus is the express image of God. Since we are now His expression on earth, God will honor us the way He honors Jesus and we can function the way He functions. If Jesus can shut the devil’s mouth, we should be able to silence the mouth of the wicked. We should be able to tell the devil to his face to shut up. We must understand that shutting up the devil is not a cliché. Shutting up the devil is not a religious saying or ritual. It is our new reality in Christ. It is not an event. It is a revelation! That is who we are! We are supposed to walk in it, not just for a period. It is a lifestyle! Anywhere we go on a daily basis, when we see anything contrary to what Christ died for on our behalf, we shut it up.
We have been authorized to do that.

If the devil tells you that you will not succeed in business tell him: “Shut up”! If he tells you that you will not have a child tell him to shut up. If he tells you that you won’t get married, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that you will not be promoted, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that you are not anointed, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that they are going to deprive you of your rights, tell him to shut up. If he tells you that no one will be able to build a house in your family, tell him to shut up. You have been authorized in Christ’s walk-in dominion.

When the enemy comes against your business, family, finance, womb, or any other area of your life, just shut him up. Don’t allow him to have the final word because Jesus Christ died and rose so that you may exercise dominion. For those that believe, shutting the mouth of the wicked should be a lifestyle. This should be the mentality that drives you.
