STAY IN GOD’S LOVE
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

“As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.” John 15:9 KJV

You are the beloved of God!
The book of Ephesians 1:6 declares: “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” (Ephesians 1:6 KJV). God has accepted you in the beloved. You are among His beloved children. You are His beloved and special ones that He will treat with favoritism. He sets us apart in an exclusive class. He treats us with preferential treatment because we are his beloved.

Now think of it, did the Father ever deny Jesus anything? Was there any challenge that grounded Jesus to a halt? Was there any difficulty He was confronted with that overtook him? None!

Even in the face of death, He came out triumphant. Even when He was taken to hell, He still came out because God will not suffer His soul to see corruption. And the good news is, you are dwelling in the same quality and the same of love that Jesus functioned in. That same measure of love that Jesus has at the right hand of the Father as a high priest is the same love that the Father has for the believeth. No wonder that the bible tells us: “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” (1 John 4:17 KJV).

You must understand the love of God and stay in His love. The saints of old functioned in this love. You see, when you feed on the loving-kindness of God, you will see all the challenges dissipate. You will see them eradicated. You will see the obstacles removed. You will begin to see God flex His muscles, on your behalf. Jehoshaphat and Judah focused on the loving-kindness of God. And they had a major victory over their enemies.

Stay in this love! Dwell in it! It is a location! It is not just something that jumps in and goes out. No! That is where we live in. There is no fear on the inside love. No fear of sickness! No fear of disease! And no fear of defeat.
