STOP LOOKING AT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Thursday 2nd June 2022

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:” Romans 4:19 (KJV)
Faith does not focus on what is happening around but on what God has spoken. Everything in Abraham’s environment was crying it will never happen. Everything was saying he can never have it! But Abraham, against all hope, believed in hope. “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So, shall thy seed be.” (Romans 4:18 KJV). Notice that Abraham chose not to consider his own dead body nor the deadness of Sarah’s womb. In other words, he wasn’t looking at his circumstances. His faith was not according to what he was experiencing, but according to that which was spoken by the Lord.

The word ‘’believe’’, both in the old and new testaments carries the idea of trust. Can you trust God? Can you trust His Word? Can you trust Him beyond tablets and beyond injections? If the people who make cars are sensible enough to make sure they have spare parts, be rest assured that our God has got spare parts for any damaged organ in your body. The issue is that can you believe! Can you look away from your circumstances and begin to trust His Word? “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” Numbers 23:19 KJV.

God knows how to solve your problem. God knows how to preserve you in the enemy’s camp. He is bigger than cancer! He is bigger than high blood pressure and low blood pressure. God is bigger than all your problems.

We serve a God whose Word can never fail! You will not die of sickness! You will not die of diseases! Whatever the enemy has fashioned against you will not prosper.
