THE WORD OF GOD IS BIGGER THAN YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Sunday 30th January 2022

“And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” Genesis 17:1 KJV

Notice that God came to Abraham when it looked like things were not going to play out as He said. And God said to him “walk before me and be perfect” In other words, I know your problem. You are not consistent. You are unstable. I gave a promise to you! And rather than be positive and be expectant and speak it into your life to appropriate it to yourself, you have gone about calling yourself an old man and calling your wife an old woman. You are saying she is not going to produce. Child of God, the Word of God is bigger than your circumstance.

The bible says that by His stripes you were healed, do you call yourself healed? The bible says God has prospered the works of your hands; do you accept that the works of your hands are prospering? The bible says you have authority, do you accept you have authority? Do you accept that what you bind is bound in heaven and what you loose is loosed in heaven? God says He has not given you the spirit of fear, but He has given you the Spirit of power, love, and sound mind. Do you accept that that is what you have? But what do you do? You speak negatively simply because you look around you and you see your circumstance.

The word of God is bigger than any circumstance you may be facing. It is subject to change. God said to Abraham; begin to accept what I have said about you. Anywhere you go, see yourself as a father of nations and your wife a mother of nations. Whether you look like it or not, leave the rest with God. It is God that will bring it to pass by the Spirit. Believe that you are who God says you are.

“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” John 20:29 KJV. Can you dare believe what God has said? Abraham believed that what God told him to come to pass.
