WISDOM FOR THE DAY DEVOTIONAL

TOPIC: THE WORD OF YOUR TESTIMONY
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” – Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
Beloved, one of the powerful ways to defeat the enemy is through your testimony. Revelation 12:11 tells us that the saints overcame the devil “by the word of their testimony.”
This has two dimensions. The first is testifying to God’s goodness in your life. Many believers receive blessings but fail to declare them.
Do you realize that declaring God’s goodness not only honors Him but also brings protection and strengthens your faith? Always speak of what God has done, despite the enemy’s attempts to hinder you. If God has done it once, which blessing will He not do again?
Some have been misled to believe that sharing testimonies gives witches or the enemy a foothold. This is a grave misunderstanding. Are you saying witches are stronger than Jesus? Absolutely not!
In a true, Bible-believing church, witchcraft cannot prevail. Those who oppose God either submit, are saved, or they leave. No dark power can survive in the presence of His glory.
Your relationship with God provides spiritual insulation. As Scripture says: “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4), and “Whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world” (1 John 5:4).
Any darkness that tries to enter your life is powerless against the authority of God in you.
Therefore, do not hesitate to testify. When you faced difficulties and everyone witnessed your struggles, the devil had his day. But now that God has delivered you and blessed you, speak it out! Declare the goodness of God over your life and let your testimony bring glory to Him. Do not allow the enemy to claim what belongs to God.
