TOPIC: YOU ARE BLESSED IN CHRIST
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” – Ephesians 1:3 KJV
The day you receive Christ into your life, everything changes. The book of 2 Corinthians 5:16-17 declares: “Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (KJV).
The Living Bible translation says, “So stop evaluating Christians by what the world thinks about them or by what they seem to be like on the outside. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, merely as a human being like myself.
How differently I feel now. When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand new person inside; he is not the same anymore. A new life has begun.”
You are not the same anymore! A new life has started! You are completely new! Everything is in Christ. Always remind yourself that you are in Christ. God didn’t make a mistake putting you in Him. Everything you need for life is already in Him. Don’t look elsewhere; look inward. You are in Christ.
It is a done deal! You are already blessed and empowered. In Christ, you have access to all spiritual blessings. It is a complete package. You are not cursed! You are blessed. God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings because of Jesus.
The blessing is yours because of the price Jesus paid on your behalf. Therefore, as a believer, you can read through the book of Deuteronomy 28 and claim the blessings. They belong to you in Christ. For as long as you take advantage of your position in Christ, you will always overcome.
So, when the enemy comes around, remind him that you are a joint heir with Christ. Let him know that the Greater One lives in you.
