YOU ARE NOT A SLAVE: YOU ARE A SON

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” 1 John. 3:1 (KJV)
Beloved, it is time to shift your mindset. You are not a slave. You are a son.
And to every woman reading this, don’t be hesitant to call yourself a son of God. In the spirit, “son” is not about gender, it is about position, identity, and inheritance. The Bible says that to those who believe in Him, He gave power to become the sons of God (John 1:12). That includes you!
Yet, as simple and powerful as this truth is, many believers still walk around with limitations. They sing songs about being children of God, but in practice, they live like slaves, unaware of their divine rights and access. Slaves follow orders without inheritance or intimacy, while sons carry authority, access, and a relationship. Slaves can be dismissed or replaced. Sons, even when they fall, are restored, not rejected. They belong. Always.
It is God’s initiative to make you a son and not yours. He chose you. He called you. He adopted you into His family, not reluctantly, but joyfully. “He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.” – Ephesians 1:5 (NIV)
Take a moment and let that sink in. You are God’s son. Everything that belongs to Jesus now belongs to you. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). You are loved, accepted, and empowered. “For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.” – Hebrews 2:11 (KJV)
So, rise up and live like a son. Walk boldly, pray boldly, and dream boldly. You are not a beggar. You are not an outsider. You are a son.
Believe it. Receive it. Live it.
