YOU HAVE HIS FULLNESS NOW
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

“And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.” John 1:16 (kjv)

One of the challenges of the believer today is the lack of understanding of all that is available in Christ. Child of God, you do not wait until you get to heaven to function in His fullness. You have His fullness NOW and not in the future. That is what the text for today is saying specifically to you.

Believers have a penchant for pushing everything to the sweet by and by (a time in the future) and that should not be. As a believer, you have NOW RECEIVED the grace and the fullness of God. Whatever He is, you NOW possess in your born-again spirit. We are complete in Him (Col. 2:9-10).

2 Cor. 5:17 makes it clear that we, the believers are instantly changed in our spirits when we received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Lack of understanding has made most born-again believers to still live their lives by their physical senses and natural minds. Our spirits cannot be seen or touched because it is the eternal and the invisible part of us.

When you choose to believe and live by what the word of God says about you, you will discover that IN Christ, you already have everything you need and want. “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” John 6:63.

Living by the Word will cause you to live more and more from your spirit. You must understand that right now in your spirit, you are already what you will be throughout eternity (1 John 4:17). Halleluyah! The more your mind is renewed to this truth, the more you experience His fullness (Prov. 23:7). Then you can walk as a sign and a wonder to your world because you are operating in a realm that they cannot comprehend. Men see you and see a glow in you that they cannot explain, you radiate God and when men are running helter-skelter, you are confidently smiling knowing what the end will be.
