YOU NEED WISDOM

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5 (NIV)
It is no news that we are living in very precarious times. There are challenges everywhere you turn. This is why you need the wisdom of God. From the moment you wake up till the moment you fall asleep, you need the wisdom of God. I am sure you are wondering what I mean. You see, you cannot afford to leave your house without seeking the wisdom of God because the roads are not safe. The only place of safety is in Jesus Christ. The awesome thing is that God has promised to give us this wisdom when we ask.
If we must walk in the reality of God’s promises, then we need the wisdom of God. Daily, take out time to ask God for wisdom concerning every area of your life. Don’t just rush out through the door daily and say it doesn’t matter. Don’t sign that business deal without asking for the wisdom of God. If we learned anything from previous and current happenings, it is that man does not have the answer. The best of man is still man. It is only God that knows the end from the beginning, and therefore it is vitally important that we seek wisdom from Him.
The book of Proverbs 4:7 tells us that: “Wisdom is the principal thing”. And so, we must pursue it with every fiber of our being.
• Wisdom will make you be sought after.
• Wisdom will cause you to stand before kings and not mean men.
• Wisdom will open doors for you.
• Wisdom will make you the preferred person.
Make up your mind to go after wisdom. It was the wisdom of God that enabled Joseph to interpret Pharaoh’s dream. It was wisdom that led to his promotion to the position of Prime Minister. It was the wisdom of God that also enabled Daniel to interpret the king’s dream.
Child of God, pay the price, spend time in the presence of God and go after wisdom.
