TOPIC: CALL FORTH YOUR EXPECTATIONS

“As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead and calleth those things that be not as though they were.” – Romans 4:17 KJV

Today, I want to stir your faith: call the things that are not as though they were. Declare the end from the beginning. Speak what God has said in the face of every contradiction. Say it boldly, because your words carry the authority to overrule the works of the enemy.

In Genesis 1:1-3, scripture tells us, “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep.” Yet the Spirit of God moved, and God spoke: “Let there be light.” God didn’t negotiate with darkness. He didn’t describe it or complain about it. He declared what He wanted, and darkness had no choice but to disappear.

Beloved, do the same. Speak what God desires for your life. Speak to your pocket. Speak to your womb. Speak to your health. Speak to your mind. Speak to your family. Speak to your business. Declare your desires. That is the spiritual order.

Jesus said in Mark 11:23, “Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.” The question is simple: What are you saying? What are you believing? Say it.
God wanted Abraham and Sarah to carry the promise, but their complaints were slowing the process. So God corrected the issue at the root: their identity. Abram became Abraham, and Sarai became Sarah. Every time Abraham spoke his own name, he was declaring, “I am the father of many nations.” To others, it sounded absurd. Imagine him returning to his village to announce, “My name has changed. Call me Abraham, father of many nations.” They probably laughed. But in the end, Abraham laughed last.

And so will you. I declare that you will have the last laugh.
