CHOOSE TO SEE LOVE OVER FEAR
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

Saturday 3rd September 2022

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” I John 4:18 (KJV)

What do you see inside you? Do you see limitations? Do you see failure? Do you see frustration? Do you see depression? Do you see sickness? Do you see disease? Do you see pains? Do you see poverty? Do you see it can never be done? Do you see hopelessness? Do you see fear? Everything happens according to what you see inside you. Choose to see the Love of God that gives you victory over all forms of fear, doubt, unbelief, and other negativities of life. It is the word of God that gives clarity regarding what you see.

The book of 1John 4:15-17 says: “Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

When you confess Christ as your Lord, you are now dwelling in God and God is dwelling in you.

You are not ordinary. You are not like any person that walks on the street. You are full of God. How can you lose with such assurance? How can you fail? There is no fear of anything! No fear of disease! No fear of tomorrow! No fear of succeeding! No fear of being a failure! You don’t have anything to fear because you are in the perfect love of God. Perfect love casts out fear!

The devil wants you to be tormented. He wants you to lose your sleep and be worried and stressed up. Beloved, you already have the word of God. He does not want you to walk about with just your physical senses. Walk with your spiritual sight and choose to see God’s love above worldly fear.
