WISDOM FOR THE DAY DEVOTIONAL

TOPIC: HAS GOD TOUCHED YOUR HEART
“And Saul also went home to Gibeah; and valiant men went with him, whose hearts God had touched.” – 1 Samuel 10:26 (NKJV)
When Saul was announced as king, only those whose hearts had been touched by God went with him. Beloved, take note, a heart touched by God is the foundation for being a worthy ambassador of Christ. True service begins in the heart, not merely with actions.
Ask yourself, Has God truly touched your heart? Are you serving in His vineyard for His glory, or are you motivated by what you can gain? Christianity is not a marketplace where you come to see what you can grab. Serving God is a privilege, a joy, and a sacred responsibility, not a means to worldly gain.
When you serve faithfully, God is faithful to meet your needs. He will never forget your labor of love. Your family will be cared for, your provision will be secured, and your faithful acts will not go unnoticed.
Scripture affirms this; “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have showed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” – Hebrews 6:10 (KJV)
Christianity is a personal race. No one else can run it for you, and no one can police your heart. If your motives are wrong, they are yours alone. But when your heart aligns with God’s heart, your service becomes eternal investment.
Let the desire to hear God say, “……..Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.” – Matthew 25:21 (KJV) be your driving force.
When this becomes your motivation, you will serve with integrity, sincerity, and passion. No longer will you play games with your faith. Every act, every thought, every service will honor God and reflect a heart touched by Him.
