TOPIC: KEEP ON STANDING FOR JESUS

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Genesis 39:9 KJV

In today’s scripture, Joseph speaks a line that reveals the depth of his conviction: “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” No one was watching. He had every human reason to compromise. Yet he chose the path of righteousness because he understood something many still overlook – wrong is wrong, even when no one sees; right is right, even when it costs you.

Beloved, if we truly are the light of the world, then we must refuse to join the multitude in wrongdoing. Joseph stood for God when it was inconvenient, when it was lonely, and when it seemed unprofitable. And that is the same call God is placing upon us today. Standing for Jesus may cost you something now, but it will reward you with everything later. It may appear as though your stand for righteousness puts you at a disadvantage, but when the story ends, you will discover that the one who stands with God always stands victorious.

As we celebrate Easter today, we are reminded that Jesus Himself is the greatest example of standing firm for the Father’s will. He endured betrayal, rejection, mockery, and the agony of the cross, yet He never compromised. He stood for us even unto death. And on the third day, God vindicated Him with resurrection power. The empty tomb is Heaven’s eternal testimony that standing for God is never in vain.
Around the world today, countless believers continue to carry the banner of Christ with courage. They are not ashamed of the gospel, for it remains the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. The resurrection of Jesus assures us that no stand for righteousness is wasted, no sacrifice for the kingdom goes unnoticed, and no obedience ends in defeat.

This resurrection morning, God is looking for men and women who will say, “No turning back. I am going all the way with Jesus, whatever it takes.” The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you, empowering you to resist temptation, overcome darkness, and live victoriously.
Because Jesus lives, you are preserved. You will not die prematurely. You will fulfil your years. The enemy will not destroy your destiny. Every plan of darkness against your life is cancelled.
Abundant life is your inheritance in Christ.

You shall not die, but live, to declare the works of the Lord.
