TAKE CHARGE
By Bishop Mike Okonkwo

“Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents” Ephesians 5: 1(MSG)

According to the scriptures anywhere Jesus went, He was doing good. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38 KJV)

What does that mean? When the Bible said Jesus went about doing good; He meant it. God does not play on words. The devil could not stop Him from doing good. He was never under any kind of pressure and not under any kind of stress. No anxiety, no matter the challenge, He was always at rest knowing that creation will answer to Him. He always took charge. He went to every place knowing that He was the Game Changer. He was not looking for a game-changer.

That is exactly how God wants you to carry yourself. But, until you understand that you are in charge and that you are the one who brings the dimension of Heaven here on earth, your struggle will continue. Beloved, Christ “… hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:” (Ephesians 2:6 KJV). We are saved and raised together with Christ. The moment you receive Jesus, He quickened you together with Jesus. So, sit down and enjoy the finished work of Jesus.

What does that mean? He is saying you should operate your life here on earth from the point of rest, not from the point or position of struggling. He made you sit. So why do you sit? He made you sit so that He can show you everything available to you in Heaven. He wants to show you the victory. When the devil attacks your body, He wants to show you that in Heaven there is no sickness, so that you can enforce victory here on earth. You are the one empowered to enforce the victory, so take charge and enforce it.
