TOPIC: THERE IS BREAD FOR YOU IN THE LAND
“Only rebel not against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us; their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us; fear them not.” Numbers 14:9 KJV
In Numbers chapter 14, there was a great cry and complaint from the congregation after the ten spies gave the negative report. It seemed as if the majority had carried the vote. Then, from verse 6, we read that Joshua, the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who searched the land, tore their clothes because of what the people said.
Then in verse 7-8, they spoke to the children of Israel saying, “The land which we passed through to search it, is an exceedingly good land. If the Lord delights in us, He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey.”(KJV)
The same land that others complained about giants and all kinds of negative reports, they saw it as a land flowing with milk and honey. They scorned them. “Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land, for they are bread for us.”
Beloved, what you call an obstacle is your bread. In other words, in your challenge lies what you will eat. In that same challenge, that is where your car, your house, your buildings, your aspirations, and your desires lie. That is where you will expand.
Understanding this will make you confront your confrontations and attack your attackers. When you deal with the giants and clear the land, you will find bread to eat in the land. Your mansion is in the land. Your limousine is in the land. The finances to train your children are in the land. The same place where giants are is where the resources to pay your bills are.
The beautiful thing is that the God who introduced you to a land full of giants knows you can deal with giants. I declare your giants will fall.
