YOU CAN ONLY GIVE WHAT YOU HAVE

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation; a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light”. 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)

There used to be a Wall known as Berlin Wall between the former East Germany and West Germany. But before the wall came down, one day, the people from East Germany collected all their garbage; their rough things; everything that was filthy which no one wanted. They carried them and put on the side of West Berlin, that is, West Germany.

The West Germans woke up the next day and saw that their borders were filled with filthy garbage and they were wondering where they came from. They enquired and found out that they came from East Germany. The West Germans decided to respond. So, they took cartons of milk, cartons of rice, bread, cartons of meat; good things, food and all the stuff, and put them on the side of East Berlin. The people were wondering and they asked West Germans why they did that. And they responded and said, “You only give what you have”. What a lesson! You can only give what you have. So true!

Beloved, you are loaded. It was David who said in Psalm 119:100, “You have made me wiser than the ancients through your word”. Once again, you are loaded! Don’t be in the company of those who are dropping garbage. What God has put in you is too precious, too expensive, and too good for it to be mixed with a counterfeit. So much has been invested in you. Show them the stuff you are made of; you are totally different. Hallelujah! The Bible says, “You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, a holy nation; set aside to show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvellous light.”

You are not ordinary. The world is waiting for what you carry (Rom. 8:19). You will manifest His glory. I bless you in Jesus’ Name.
