TOPIC: YOUR SINS HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY
“The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29 KJV
Beloved, you need to deliver yourself from yourself. You see, it is not about you. It is about Christ! That is why Paul says, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation. He didn’t say Praise and Worship is the power.
Now, don’t misunderstand me, praise and worship can bring power. He didn’t say giving, but we have to give. He didn’t say praying. He said in the Gospel lies the power of God.
Why is the gospel too good to be true? God says He does not see your sin again. How does that grab you? God says He does not see your sin! It is not about doing good and getting good or doing bad and getting bad. It is about the fact that He has decided to do only good for you.
It is not about your sins. Your past, present, and future sins have been forgiven! This is contrary to what we have heard over the years, but that is the Bible. You were not there when Jesus died. That means all your sins were in the future.
If that is true, then your past, present, and future sins are forgiven. If there was still one sin that was not dealt with by Jesus, He would still have been in the grave. “……. He was manifested to take away our sins…….” (1 John 3:5 KJV)
Your sins have been taken away. Don’t let the devil accuse you. Not that you did not make a mistake or didn’t fall into sin. God says He doesn’t remember them. If He doesn’t remember, then why are you reminding Him?
Beloved, the fact that you fell into sin does not make you a sinner. You are still the righteousness of God in Christ. Your mistakes cannot unravel your righteousness!
That I walk into a garage does not make me a car. That I jumped into mud does not make me mud. If I jump in, I will come out, clean the mud, and keep going.
