YOUR STEPS ARE ORDERED BY GOD

“And straightway he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people. And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.” Mark 6:45-46 (KJV)

The Bible gave the account in Mark 6 :45-56 of how Jesus instructed His disciples to get into the ship and go to Bethsaida. When it was evening, the wind became contrary unto them. Later on, He came walking on the water to meet them about the fourth watch of the night. But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit and cried out: For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them and said unto them “Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.” And he went up unto them into the ship, and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure and wondered.

The Lord Jesus Christ by Himself ordered the steps of the disciples because He was the one who instructed them on where to go. One of the things you must understand in your walk of faith with God is that there are detours, there are diversions, there are distractions and there are disruptions. They are part and parcel of your life. And you must understand this so that you don’t receive a shock.

But the good news is that: in that your journey, God still orders your steps. The Bible says:
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” (Psalm 37:23 KJV)

Your steps at times can be ordered into a place that is not comfortable. And when you understand the workings of God, you will know how to navigate yourself. I declare that you will not be stranded. Your life will continually go from glory unto glory. Continue to walk in the light of what God has said and you will be above in all the circumstances.
